My partner and I had googled steak places before we came out to Pairs Chez Sophie was the best we had seen and it didn’t disappoint!! The steak was cooked perfect and very delicious, chips was amazing again cooked to perfection and the presentation was amazing! Sophie is lovely and very welcoming with a gorgeous restaurant and of course the lovely food! This was one of the best steaks we have had I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Paris and looking for a good steak it’s definitely worth a visit!!

Sophie is very kind and welcoming. Her son is helping her with the tables and we thought that was sweet! They put a lot of effort and love in this restaurant and you can see that from every single thing. They care if you like the food, if you are comfortable and overall satisfied. The food is just perfect, vegetable lasagna was the best one I had so far! You can see that the veggies are hand-cut, that the sauces are home made and that they know what they are doing. Absolutely visit this place!

We had a wonderful dinner at Chez Sophie. My steak was perfectly cooked, tender and full of flavor, while my wife enjoyed an excellent chicken filet, juicy and beautifully prepared. The cozy atmosphere and warm service made the evening even better. A place where quality, taste and friendliness come together — highly recommended for a true Paris dining experience.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night. It was very busy but the staff was quite attentive, helpful and courteous. We weren’t hungry so only ordered the veal appetizer and salmon steak. Both were delicious. Definitely will come back to try others on the menu.

Excellent Food & Cozy Atmosphere The food was excellent, though the menu is a bit limited. I was perfectly happy with my order. Drinks were a little slow to arrive but were well-mixed once they did. It seemed like a family-run place, which I really appreciated, though they might benefit from an extra server to keep things running a bit faster. We would’ve kept ordering drinks if the service had been slightly quicker. The atmosphere was great, though the space is small—typical for the location, but still cozy and inviting.

The owner, Sofie, found us a table without having a reservation and was extremely welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We ordered the Mezza appetizer, it was so flavorful and fresh. For dinners we ordered the Salmon and the Filet with the secret sauce. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine selections were perfect and price-wise very affordable. The Gin Basil Smash is a must if you enjoy gin (extra bonus - the owner made it for us!) For dessert we had the Moelleux au chocolat (molten chocolate cake) and the rice pudding which were both fresh and delicious. Honestly, the best meal we had while in Paris and I will be back in the future. Thank you Sofie, Aabir (our incredible server - the owner’s sister!), Taj, and team! This meal and evening was excellent and memorable!!

Amazing little restaurant just a couple blocks from the July Column in Bastille. Saw they had high review rating and they did not disappoint. Hidden gem with amazing food and lovely service. Best food we had on our Paris trip. Thank you Sophie & Team!
